GLENN JEFFREY

Director – BA (Hons) Arch, PG Dip Arch (Distinction), ARB, RIBA

Glenn is a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Architect with extensive experience in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. He graduated from London South Bank University in 2000, where his work was nominated for the RIBA President's Silver Medal, and he was awarded the prestigious Divisional Prize for best Diploma student. In 2008 he relocated to Singapore to run the office of SMC Alsop before establishing his studio in 2010.

Glenn's work is diverse in scale, typology and location. His work includes private houses, multi-unit housing, offices, art galleries, civic buildings, mixed-use developments, airports, landscape, interiors and furniture design. Regardless of the project, he strives to create architecture with minimal environmental impact. Examples range from the carbon-neutral Long House in New Zealand to high-rise projects such as the Jalan Ampang mixed-use scheme (targeted LEED Platinum) and One Central Park (Green Building Index Certified) in Kuala Lumpur. He is extremely interested in the promotion of timber within the building industry. To this end, Faber was established to focus on sustainable, progressive architecture while researching low-impact building systems and methodologies.
